The developer behind hit titles like Baldur's Gate 3 and Divinity: Original Sin recently unveiled its next major project, generating a wave of excitement within the industry. However, follow-up statements from the company's co-founder have added nuance to the narrative, addressing the studio's philosophy toward generative artificial intelligence.

AI as a Creative Assistant, Not a Substitute

In a latest statement, Swen Vincke outlined that the team is using machine learning for certain ancillary tasks. These involve fleshing out PowerPoint slides, creating initial concept art, and drafting draft text.
