The King's Record-Setting Point-Scoring Streak Comes to a Close, Yet Los Angeles Pull Off Victory Over Raptors.

LeBron James was aware his incredible run of putting up 10+ points was at risk. When it mattered most, however, he wasn't bothered.

The smart move involved passing the ball – and he executed. With that selfless act, his remarkable run was over.

James's unprecedented run of 1,297 consecutive regular-season games with 10+ points ended on Thursday night, as basketball's greatest scorer had only eight total points in the Lakers' close win against Toronto. He made the clutch helper, finding Rui Hachimura to knock down a three-pointer to win the game.

“Nothing,” James stated in response regarding the conclusion of his run. “We won.”

A Selfless Choice Seals the Game

LeBron had the chance to tried to secure the game – and extended his record – in the closing seconds, but he chose to dish the ball to Rui in the left corner. Hachimura made the shot, with LeBron celebrated triumphantly.
